Boatersland Discount Marine Supply is your home for the Taylor Made Sur-Moor Taper Buoy. The 24-inch taper buoy is so-named because the buoy diameter is 24 inches. These buoys stand 22 11/16 inches high and have a tube diameter of 2 ½ inches. The buoyancy of this model, part number TAY46724, is approximately 165 pounds. The blue reflective striping on this buoy is located toward the top of the buoy rather than at the water line resulting in higher visibility than its cousin, the Taylor Made Sur-Moor T3C buoy. Similarities to the T3C include it being made of a hard-skin polyethylene shell that is UV protected; the shell having a sand-blasted finish which allows the buoy to be painted for identifying; and being available at Boatersland Marine at a low price. The hardware for this buoy is not included with the purchase. Hardware can be purchased separately at Boatersland Marine.
