Apart from the diameter and pitch, the number of blades on a propeller, the blades’ designing interferences, and other differences such as the thickness of the blade, the propeller’s weight, the material used have their share of “responsibility” in propeller performance. That is to say, the rake angle is measured on the propeller’s hub and created vertically on the hub with the straight line connecting the blade’s base and tip. As a result, when the rake angle is 0 degrees, the blades on the propeller’s hub are upright. The steeper the rake and the greater the angle generated, the further back the blades lean. Key Features:
