Shields Shieldsaust-C Exhaust Hose with Wire – Series 252

Shieldsaust – C has a black synthetic rubber tube and cover. It is reinforced with double wire helix imbedded between plies of synthetic cord and is abrasion resistant. It is resistant to exhaust fumes, ozone, mild chemicals, antifreeze, and saltwater. This hose is primarily used for wet exhaust connections with significant bends, engine intake and scupper lines. The temperature ranges from -20°F to + 200°F continuous, +250°F intermittent. The hose now has double the ozone resistance required by SAEJ2006. This hose meets SAE J2006 Type R2 standards.
